Abbie Kamin is a civil rights attorney and neighborhood advocate, who was born and raised in Houston. She’s a true believer in the courage, grit, and grace of everyday Houstonians. Abbie is a fourth-generation District C resident and represents fifteen unique super neighborhoods, including the west side of Sunset Heights.

Karla Cisneros, Council Member, Distric H
A Houston resident since 1980, Karla Cisneros has dedicated her adult life to improving opportunities for young people. She represents historic neighborhoods to the north and to the east of downtown Houston, including the east side of Sunset Heights. In addition to chairing the City Council Economic Development Subcommittee on Education, she also is the Vice-Chair of the City Council Transportation, Technology and Infrastructure Committee.
